Transportation funding failure should serve as warning in Race to the Top
Former Stamford Mayor Dan Malloy, a potential candidate for Governor, today responded to Connecticut’s failure to acquire any funding from a recent round of federal TIGER (Transportation Investment Generating Economic Recovery) grants totaling $1.5 billion. Connecticut was one of only nine states to not receive any of the TIGER funding:
